Have you heard about Chemists Without Borders?

Have you heard about Chemists Without Borders? They are an organization founded in 2004 by Bego Gerber and Steve Chambreau as a result of a letter ("An Ailing Cure") that Bego sent to the editor of Chemical and Engineering News in September 2004. Members of Chemists Without Borders share their interest to solve humanitarian problems by mobilizing the resources and expertise of the global chemistry community and its networks. If you want to know more about their work, visit their website or facebook page. #global #collaboration

Volunteers needed for translation work

IYCN is recruiting volunteers to assist us with translating chemistry experiments from English into different languages. This project will also extend to cover winning experiments from the project: Engaging the next generation: an IYCN outreach competition, sponsored by CAS (more details to be announced soon!). Translation experience is not required and volunteers will receive a certificate of participation. Please spread the word through your networks, with your help we can reach chemists all over the world! For more information and to volunteer, please email us at publicoutreach.iycn@gmail.com. #Opportunities #iycn
