Global Women’s Breakfast 2026 (GWB26)

Many Voices, One Science

The Global Women’s Breakfast 2026 (GWB26) will be held on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, as a hybrid event hosted by Aston University, bringing together students and staff from diverse backgrounds and career stages.

This event is part of the global initiative led by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry and supported by the International Younger Chemists Network, aiming to foster equity, inclusion, and connection across the chemical sciences and related fields.

Event Aims

GWB26 seeks to:

  • Explore multiple education and research pathways shaped by diverse experiences
  • Highlight opportunities offered by internal and external organisations
  • Support students and staff in accelerating equity across scientific disciplines

Overview of the IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast and IYCN initiatives, led by Dr. Tien Thuy Quach, Teaching Fellow in Pharmaceutics, Aston University.

Panel discussion under the theme “Many Voices, One Science”, featuring diverse perspectives on education, research, and career development.
