Your green chemistry idea could become a resource that teaches, inspires, and travels around the world.
The International Younger Chemists Network (IYCN) is partnering with the Green Chemistry Teaching and Learning Community (GCTLC) to launch the Green Chemistry & Sustainability Infographics Competition, a global initiative inviting participants to communicate green and sustainable chemistry concepts through creative, engaging infographics.
Participants are invited to bring a green or sustainable chemistry concept to life by creating an infographic that helps others understand real-world challenges, safer, more sustainable solutions, and the important role chemistry plays in building a more sustainable future.
Who can participate?
The competition includes four categories:
-
Elementary and middle school students
-
High school students
-
Postsecondary students and early-career researchers
-
Open community participants
Top submissions will have the opportunity to receive prizes and be considered for publication in the GCTLC peer-reviewed digital library, where published resources receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and become accessible to educators, students, and chemistry communities worldwide.
Get ready to participate!
Start developing your idea now and prepare to submit your infographic during National Chemistry Week this October.
Whether you are a student, researcher, educator, or chemistry enthusiast, this is an opportunity to combine science, creativity, and communication while helping make green and sustainable chemistry more accessible to communities worldwide.
